1. Introduction: Security and Transparency in Your Payments
At Qoyawarkuna Travel, we prioritize the security of your transactions. We provide a variety of secure, swift, and transparent payment methods so you can confirm your reservation with complete confidence. All our processes comply with international financial security standards.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
You can make your initial deposit and the final balance payment using any of the following options:
2.1. Credit/Debit Card Payment (Recommended)
- Secure Platform: We accept all major cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club) through secure payment gateways such as PayPal or Local Processors (e.g., VisaNet / Culqi).
- Procedure: Upon confirming the booking, we will send a secure payment link to your email. Simply follow the steps indicated on the platform.
- Note on Fees: Most payment gateways apply a transaction fee (generally between $5\%$ and $8\%$) which the client assumes and is automatically added to the amount payable.
2.2. International Bank Transfer (Wire Transfer)
- Currency: You may transfer funds in Peruvian Soles (S/) or US Dollars (US$) to our corporate bank accounts in Peru.
- Ideal for: Payments for final balances or large amounts.
- Procedure: Request the full banking details (SWIFT Code, account number, bank name) from your Qoyawarkuna Travel advisor.
- Note on Fees: International transfers incur bank charges (commissions from intermediary banks and the receiving bank), which the Client must fully assume to guarantee the total reservation amount reaches our account.
2.3. Direct Cash Payments (Final Balance in Cusco Only)
- Condition: This method is valid solely for the payment of the pending final balance and must be completed at our Cusco offices before starting your first service or trek.
- Currency: We accept Peruvian Soles (S/) or US Dollars (US$).
- Note: We recommend completing this transaction within the first 48 hours of your arrival in Cusco.
3. Payment and Confirmation Process
- Initial Deposit: Secure your reservation and non-refundable services (permits, train tickets) by making an initial deposit.
- Verification: Once you complete the payment, send us the transaction receipt (screenshot or bank slip).
- Confirmation: Our team will verify the fund’s entry. Once confirmed, you will receive your Confirmation Voucher and the electronic invoice for the transaction.
- Final Balance: You must cover the final balance within the deadline established on your voucher.
4. Transaction Security
- Certification: We utilize certified payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards to protect your card information.
- Non-Storage Policy: Qoyawarkuna Travel never stores sensitive credit/debit card information on its servers. The payment platform directly encrypts and processes all financial data.
- Transparency: Contact your advisor immediately with any questions regarding a charge.
5. Includes (Value Information)
- Clear definition of the primary payment methods and their procedures.
- Explicit warning regarding commissions and bank charges assumed by the Client.
- Guarantee of security and non-storage of card data.
6. Excludes (Exclusions)
- The Agency does not cover or assume responsibility for the commissions or charges applied by your card-issuing bank or by intermediary banks in international transfers.
- Payments made via personal check or postal money orders.
7. Recommendations (Advice for the Client)
- International Transfer: If you use this method, request your bank to assign all expenses to the sender (“OUR” option) to prevent the net amount received from being less than the reservation total.
- Verification: Never share your PIN or card security details via email or phone.
- Soles or Dollars: When using a card in Peru, check whether paying in Soles or Dollars is more convenient, based on your bank’s exchange rates.
