Singrenacocha Lagoon (Ausangate)

Discover the serenity and color of Singrenacocha Lagoon, a turquoise jewel hidden within the sacred surroundings of the majestic Apu Ausangate. This full-day tour offers a unique and less crowded alternative to other high-altitude treks, allowing for an intimate connection with the powerful Andean nature. Singrenacocha’s beauty lies in the contrast of its crystalline waters, the reflection of the snow-capped peaks, and the presence of high-Andean fauna. The hike to the lagoon is notably short, making the primary challenge acclimatization to the altitude ($4,450$ m / $14,599$ ft above sea level). This excursion is ideal for travelers seeking stunning, pristine landscapes without the physical rigor of a prolonged trekking journey.
