Pallay Punchu

Dare to discover Pallay Punchu, the “Pointed Mountain of Colors” or “Andean Weaving,” the new hidden treasure in the Cusco region. This geological marvel, named by locals for its resemblance to the zigzag patterns of a traditional Andean poncho (Pallay Punchu), offers a dramatic and different view compared to any other colored mountain. Its stunning sharp peaks and intense mineral stripes (red, ochre, fuchsia) contrast with the vast high-Andean landscape and the majesty of the nearby Langui-Layo Lagoon. This Full Day tour is a demanding trekking experience, ideal for travelers in good physical condition and a thirst for adventure, who seek a less crowded, authentic destination that guarantees postcards of unprecedented visual impact in the Mountain Range.
